Doujinshi means manga (comics) which are not officially produced by the character/concept copyright holders but are generally approved because in Japan they've understood the fan-activity is the very essence of entertainment. And unlike western fanart culture most of the sold doujinshi really are result of talent and hours of hard work, and thus it's quality is easilly commercial and someone even might buy it from you. They even have official events in Japan where artists actually sell their doujinshis. If you don't believe, go for some search like google or altavista and search both western and Japanese fanart, and see which one is usually better. Duh! Of course it's biased! ;)

Also, it's not a suprising for a doujinshi to have sexual content as some of the covers might already tell you. That might also be one reason why majority of the girls usually have such. damn. big. boobs. But that's what you (and us) perverts like, no? ~_^
