F. / 200 Centigrades In a bowl combine sugar, almonds, and flur. Stir in butter, orange juice and zest until combined well. Drop batter by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets three inches apart. Flatten each with a fork dipped in water. Bake for 6 to 7 minutes, or until golden bown. Remove baking sheet from oven and let cool for 1 minute, or until firm enough to remove, then transfer to wire racks to cool. If cookies stick to baking sheet, return to oven for 30 sec. to 1 minute). Store in a cool dry place until ready to serve. Note: Spread fresh strawberries and whipped cream between the layers.
